Exercise & Nutrition-daily log 7.24.13

What will you do for exercise today?  What will you provide your body with for nutrition?  Yes, nutrition is a provision.  Food has been provided for us.  Honor and give to yourself that which will strengthen and not harm your body.

Here’s my day (recipes included):

Arise & stretch!  Forward bends, twists, breathing exercise.  Fruits-and-Vegetables

Meal 1.  1/2 c. fresh blueberries & light coconut milk

Meal 2.  6 oz. Salad made with chicken breasts grillled in sunflower oil and seasoned with a chile margarita seasoning mix, 2 c. red leaf lettuce, 1/8 c. diced scallions, 1 fresh tomato, chopped, 1/3 c. peach/mango salsa.

30 minutes of spinning.

Meal 3.  Smoothie made with 1 c. vanilla unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop vega performance protein powder, 1 c. fresh cherries chopped, 1 banana, vitamins & minerals mixed in.

Meal 4.  Tuna salad sandwich on gf bread roll, broccoli raisin salad.

90 minutes yoga.

Meal 5. peanut butter chocolate chip bar (flour less)
